I’ve been a Podiatrist for going on 40 years now and in that time have seen our profession go through many changes. One of the most positive changes has been the development of Resonance Podiatry as a supportive collegial network of like-minded individuals with a common interest of setting high standards for Podiatry outcomes using evidenced-based treatments.
I have mainly practiced on my own for the last 28 years in Nelson, preceded by a 12-year stint in Wellington, most of which was private practice and as a part time clinical tutor at the School of Podiatry when based at the Central Institute of Technology.
When the opportunity to join the Resonance Network presented itself, we, Caro (business partner and Practice Manager) and I were interested because of Resonance’s reputation within Podiatry circles and we saw it as a great opportunity to have access to a wonderfully supportive collegial network of high quality practitioners.
Caro and I have a common love of running and in Caro’s case cycling and swimming as well. We are both keen trail runners having both completed various Ultra’s and Ironman races and we continue to search out events. I have always been interested in a broad scope of practice but have a personal interest in running/shoe science and the murky world of Ultramarathons. Caro has a fitness training background and is continuing to upskill her knowledge in this area.
Chris is a Podiatrist at our Nelson clinic, Tasman Bay Podiatry.
