Tauranga Clinic

Ashleigh is one of Resonance’s leading Musculoskeletal and Rehabilitation Podiatrists. She has owned and operated a highly  successful  clinic in Lower Hutt, Wellington for the past eight years before relocating with her young family to Tauranga at the end of 2024 to be closer to family.

Ashleigh will temporarily be running a clinic in Tauranga for two days per week from March 2025 until June 2025 before taking time out for maternity leave with her second child. If you are experiencing musculoskeletal pain which may include: a foot or ankle injury, forefoot pain, midfoot pain, heel pain, or ankle pain, or simply want to maximise your physical potential, don’t hesitate to get in touch with one of our lovely Resonance receptionists- we would love to help!

Please note that Ashleigh will not be providing skin or nail treatment as this is a musculoskeletal clinic only.

Ashleigh has been practicing as a Podiatrist for over eleven years. During this time with working alongside leading sports physicians, physios, orthopaedic and rheumatology specialists, radiologists, and GP’s in Wellington’s most esteemed multidisciplinary sports medicine clinics, she has developed a true passion for all things musculoskeletal and sports medicine related. She is an accredited Sports Podiatrist, and has specialised in musculoskeletal management for the past nine years.

Ashleigh is passionate about all facets of podiatric care and providing comprehensive treatment for patients from all walks of life. Ashleigh specialises in podiatric biomechanics and function, and has a particularly keen affinity for rehabilitation of conditions affecting the lower limb. She holds a particular interest in gait analysis, comprehensive biopostural and functional assessment, treatment and ultimately, prevention.

In a past life Ashleigh was a high level competitive artistic gymnast for many years, so she has a real passion and understanding of biomechanics, and how the body’s biomechanical structure can have a significant impact on our overall function and wellbeing.

 Ashleigh’s favourite aspect of healthcare is connection, and enjoys bringing a passionate and bubbly energy to her consultations to understand her patients as a whole human, and ensure that each individual receives specialised care to best meet their needs and achieve their goals. Ashleigh enjoys working collaboratively with both fellow medical professionals and her patients, to holistically manage any lower limb issue whether it be a sports injury, post-operative rehabilitation, a common paediatric condition, joint pain and dysfunction, Rheumatoid arthritis, or the Diabetic foot. Additionally, Ashleigh utilises our leading-edge gait analysis technology for optimal functional assessment and management. Whether elite athletes, weekend warriors, children, elderly, or those just wanting to get to the underlying cause of their musculoskeletal pain and imbalances,  Ashleigh provides the latest evidence-based care and is committed to getting you back on track with your goals.
