Ashleigh is a Resonance Group Partner and a leading Musculoskeletal and Rehabilitation Podiatrist. In 2024 Ashleigh relocated with her young family to Tauranga, following 8 successful years as owner/director and senior podiatrist of Hutt City Podiatry in Wellington.

Returning from maternity leave, Ashleigh currently has appointment availability on Mondays and Wednesdays at her Bureta Road clinic.

If you are experiencing lower limb pain or dysfunction which may include but is not limited to; general foot pain, bunions, claw toes, morton’s neuroma, heel pain or plantar fasciitis, shin pain, Achilles pain, Arthritis, calcaneal apophysitis (severs), intoeing, foot drop, any sports injury such as tendonitis, fracture, or ankle sprains, or simply want to maximise your physical potential, don’t hesitate to get in touch with one of our lovely Resonance receptionists and we would love to help!

Ashleigh’s Tauranga clinic is ACC registered, which provides our patients with partial funding for their appointments, and contributes partially or fully to a range of orthotic devices, braces, and moonboots.

    Ashleigh has been practicing as a Podiatrist for over twelve years. During this time, working alongside sports physicians, physios, orthopaedic and rheumatology specialists, radiologists, and GP’s in Wellington’s premium multidisciplinary clinics, she has developed a true passion for all things musculoskeletal and sports medicine related. She is an accredited Sports Podiatrist and has specialised in musculoskeletal management for the past ten years.

    Ashleigh is passionate about all facets of podiatric care and providing comprehensive treatment for patients from all walks of life. Ashleigh specialises in podiatric biomechanics and function and has a particularly keen affinity for rehabilitation of conditions affecting the lower limb. She holds a particular interest in gait analysis, comprehensive biopostural and functional assessment, treatment and ultimately, prevention.

    In a past life Ashleigh was a high level competitive artistic gymnast for many years, so she has a real passion and understanding of how the body’s biomechanical structure can have a significant impact on our overall function and wellbeing.

    Ashleigh’s favourite aspect of healthcare is connection and enjoys bringing a passionate, bubbly energy to her consultations to understand her patients as a whole human and ensure that everyone receives personalised care to best meet their needs and achieve their goals.

    Ashleigh enjoys working collaboratively with both fellow medical professionals and her patients, to holistically manage any lower limb issue whether it be a sports injury, post-operative rehabilitation, a common paediatric condition, joint pain and dysfunction, Rheumatoid arthritis, or the Diabetic foot.

    Additionally, Ashleigh utilises our leading-edge gait analysis technology for optimal functional assessment and management. Whether elite athletes, weekend warriors, children, elderly, or those just wanting to get to the underlying cause of their musculoskeletal pain and imbalances, Ashleigh provides the latest evidence-based care and is committed to getting you back on track with your goals.

    Foot pain

    The foot is a very complex structure which is exposed to significant forces during day to day activities and foot pain can be a common complaint. Podiatrists are the medical professionals who diagnose and treat all foot pain and lower limb conditions.
